As I sat on the beach watching the waves crash…

…I couldn’t stop thinking about you. Yes, I was on a trip with my friends from my fraternity and I was there to have fun with them, but I couldn’t help but think of you as I sat on the beach. When we were together, we made plans to go to the beach together, thinking we’d still be together. And now that we’re not together, it’s hard to be in a place that’s romantic and not think of you.

And I know you’re in a new relationship. When I found out, I was hella hurt because you said that you weren’t gonna be in a new relationship for a long time.

I know it’s been like nine weeks since we ended and stopped talking, and I know I should move on, but I really can’t. It’s hard to hear about my friends talk about how they’ve seen you at a party.

It’s pathetic but I’m still hoping that you’ll come back to me one of these days. :/
